The grapes for this wine were sourced from 2 vineyards to allow us to make a wine with nice fruit flavors and complexity.
The Vintage:
2016 continued in a string of very strong vintages for us in California. Very even ripening conditions throughout the summer with few heat spells coupled with no rain from berry set through harvest produced fruit of top quality.

"This first vintage of our Marilyn Chardonnay has yielded a wine that immediately pleases with aromas that have wonderful complexity
and nice intensity. Hints of Meyer lemon, green apple, Bartlett pear and honeysuckle are well integrated on the nose. These aromas carry through on the palate, with a wonderful balance and rounded mouthfeel. This wine finishes with a refreshing, lingering crispness."
