The rich deep/garnet hues and the complexity of aromas in our Meritage blend immediately speak to the strength of another wonderful Napa Valley harvest in 2023.

Our nose is pleasantly attracted by a complexity of aromas, that include dark cherries, and hints of caramelized brown sugar, cinnamon stick, and bay leaf to name a few.

The lush round entry on the palate leads to a well structured, full mouthfeel as one would expect in a top Meritage. Added notes of currants with a hint of anise make this a wine that is at once enjoyable, while also able to reward the patient
consumer who has left some bottles for years of aging.

The almost 30% Cabernet Sauvignon from two different vineyards helps to give this wine added structure and more fruit complexity. The majority of the Cabernet and all of the Merlot come from the same small Coombsville subAVA in Napa Valley as our Marilyn Merlot has for three years.
